1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Convertible
Classic Car Addict is proud to present this 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS tribute convertible for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The Chevrolet Chevelle is a mid-sized automobile that was produced by the Chevrolet division of General Motors in three generations for the 1964 to 1977 model years. Part of the GM A-body platform, the Chevelle was one of Chevrolet's most successful nameplates. The 1970 Chevelle came in Sport Coupe, Sport Sedan, convertible, four-door sedan, a couple of wagons.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in ivory vinyl and accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard and door panels. Equipment includes a center console, a push-button radio, a Hurst shifter, lap belts, and SS-branded black floormats. The two-spoke SS-branded steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and supplementary gauges for amperage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 41,649 miles.
The car is finished in Graphite Gray with a power-operated black soft top and rally-style black stripes. Details include an SS-style front grille and taillight panel, a cowl induction hood, aftermarket headlights, chrome side mirrors, and chrome bumpers. The 14” Super Sport wheels wear chrome trim rings and are mounted with F70-14 Firestone tires.
