The Grand Sport stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of America's true sports car. As the automotive world continues to evolve, the Grand Sport remains a revered icon among performance vehicles, cherished for its unique place in the Corvette lineage. There were only 517 produced in Artic White out of 5056 coupes made.
The cabin features power-adjustable bucket seats with custom black leather, red inserts, and red stitching. The Corvette was optioned with the 2LT preferred equipment group, which added side airbags. Additional amenities include navigation, a head-up display, a CD stereo, a Bose sound system, side airbags, keyless access, cruise control, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 75,835 miles.
The Corvette is finished in Artic White (10U) and features wider fenders along with additional brake cooling ducts ahead of the rear wheels. It features Xenon headlights, fog lights, and quad exhaust outlets. Staggered diameter 18” and 19” C6 Z06 Spyder wheels. Braking is handled by six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers over ventilated rotors sized 14″ and 13.4, respectively. The Grand Sport features specific stabilizer bars and stiffer springs and shock absorbers when compared with the standard Corvette.
The 6.2-liter LS3 V8 is equipped with a performance exhaust system and was factory rated at 436 horsepower and 424 lb.-ft of torque. But this one has an LS3 head and cam package that was tuned (no dyno available). It features a Vararam VR performance cold air intake system as well. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission and a 2.73:1 limited slip differential. Carfax is clean, no accidents reported.
