1989 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z

Classic Car Addict is proud to present this 1989 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The IROC-Z is an American performance Legend with a 5.7-liter V8 with TPI, delivering 230 horsepower. The Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z was a performance focused variant of the 3rd Generation Camaro. The IROC-Z was named for the International Race of Champions and was initially offered as an option package on the Z28. These cars received improved suspension, upgraded fuel injection, and custom decals. Production of the Camaro IROC-Z ended in 1990, when Chevrolet's agreement with the International Race of Champions concluded.
The interior features front and rear bucket seats upholstered in gray cloth with gray inserts, and matching upholstery trims the doors. Amenities include air conditioning (just serviced), cruise control, power windows, power adjustable drivers' seat, and a Delco BOSE AM/FM/cassette stereo. The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 145-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, battery voltage, and oil pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 9,672 miles (odometer has rolled over).
The Camaro is finished in Flame Red Metallic (WA9535) and features removable tinted glass T-Tops. The Camaro did have a full repaint. Additional features include front fog lights, hood vents, and IROC-Z graphics and badging. The IROC-Z package added a sport-tuned suspension, larger sway bars, a lowered ride height, and stiffer Delco-Bilstein shocks. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
The 5.7-liter V8 features tuned-port fuel injection and was rated at 230 horsepower and 330 lb.-ft of torque when new. We have recent receipts for new O2 sensor, MAP, engine control module, fuel injectors, AC service, new radiator, battery, oil change, spark plugs, and transmission service. The Camaro rolls on new Falken Ziex tires, 245/50R16, all the way around.
