1969 Pontiac Acadian SS

For 1969, the Acadian offered everyone who could afford to buy a brand-new car the opportunity to virtually custom build your own. You were able to choose from two basic models: two-door coupe or four-door sedan. You could upgrade and get the most potent Acadian, the Super Sport, and that's just what they did!
Behind the wheel, you're surrounded by a perfectly coordinated interior. The red vinyl against the black exterior really makes it pop. There is a slight tear in the driver seat, but that could easily be repaired. It features a SANYO AM/FM radio with cassette player. There is an additional tachometer attached to the steering column. The steering wheel has been upgraded from the original and it now features a three-spoke wheel in red.
The exterior is finished in Starlight Black with red pinstriping. Consignor states that a recent buff, wax, and PPF was applied. The doors shut smoothly, and the body lines are straight. Chrome trim pieces are all in great shape. The 'SS' name plate is located on the grille as well as 350 V8 emblems on the front fenders. The outside features special simulated scoops on the hood and louvers behind the front wheels. We love the dark tint on the windows as well, gives it that dark look we all love.
Under the hood the Acadian sports a 350ci V8 (8970010) powered by a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter. We have power steering and power brakes. It features a 12-bolt rear end and rolls on Cooper Cobra radials, P215/70R15 on aftermarket 15-inch rims (no pitting is present in the rims). It has floating caliper front wheel power disc brakes.
