Classic Car Addict is proud to present this iconic 1967 Chevrolet C10 for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. Have you heard of “Hazel”? Well, if you have, you know her history. If you are new, please let us introduce you to her. The back story on Hazel is as follows; Keith Stephens had his eyes set on a short bed C10 for several years, in fact, Hazel passed right through his small town in Texas to an auto shop where it would then sit outside. Keith would stop by the shop every couple of months to ask if the truck was for sale. The owner always refused to sell saying that one day, he himself would restore the truck. One lucky evening, Keith found a listing for a 1967 C10 in the same small town but it didn't have a picture; so, Keith emailed the guy right away and waited for a response. Next morning, the C10 owner replied to Keith's email with his number, and they made a deal.
C-10 history 1967-1972 are considered the most desirable model years of the classic C-10 trucks. The Action Line series has been sought after by hot rod legends, mini truckers, and pro-touring racers. Its huge rise in popularity helped enthusiasts dub it the new 1969 Camaro. Hazel made a debut on Auto Revolution podcast speaking about the patina paint, Porterbuilt set up, and being so high end. They stated that Hazel bridged the gap for C10's.
The interior is obviously just as beautiful as the outside. She has a painted and upholstered interior finished in a beautiful turquoise. Looking through the custom Billet steering wheel wrapped in turquoise leather, we have Dakota Digital gauges (lights up with a white glow) and Vintage A/C. It's easy to imagine yourself sitting in this awesome truck of the year, isn't it? She is equipped with a GM Delco radio as well that is in working order. Windshield wipers and lights work as well.
Hazel features new exterior brightwork, along with a custom raised and dimple dyed bed. This Patina is one of the best we have ever seen, and MANY magazines and podcasts have stated the same thing. Hazel tells her OWN story, the 56 years of natural patina and the street rod quality that she offers is next to none.
Hazel's power comes from a crate Chevrolet LS7 427 cubic inch V8 rated for 505 HP (she is well over 575) and 470-foot pounds of torque, paired with a 4L70E four speed automatic transmission and Moser 12-bolt rear end with posi. Underneath it features Porterbuilt components front and rear, air ride to lay frame, Wilwood disc brakes, 20-inch Billet Raceline Commotion wheels and much more. Hazel has a new master cylinder booster, and new lights front and rear.
